We have recently experienced a tour of the fabulous Copper Canyons
of northern Mexico under the skilled direction of Les Mahoney of Copper Canyon
Adventures.
Across the years we have had the privilege of leading some 78
groups in many parts of the world but we have never been more carefully cared for or

Summer 2009: Experience the prettiest time in the
canyon--summer! The scenery is at is best, the waterfalls booming, and the
temperatures mild at the higher elevations of the rim. Experience the best-kept
secret in the Copper Canyon--the beautiful Summer!
Our daughters, ages 10, 8 and 5 especially enjoyed the
ruggedness of our adventures in the Canyon. While staying at the Oso they rode
horses, went swimming in the river, crossed a suspension bridge, explored caves, and met a
real Raramuri Indian family in their home.
We never dreamed that the Canyon would be so green - much
prettier than the Grand Canyon.
We enjoyed the Mexican dance performance (put on just for
us!). Our hosts at the Paraiso del Oso and the Rio Fuerte Bed and Breakfast made us
feel like part of their families. Thank you again!
