Hiking the "Cave
Tour", a fascinating exploration of several old Raramuri cave dwellings,
complete with archaeological artifacts and that special "see how they lived"
feeling,
Returning to the
Paraiso del Oso hotel hiking from Cerro Gallegos, a full-day hike that takes you
into the depths of Raramuri country, for a better understanding of how they
live in the canyon area,
A full-day
descent to the village of Wakajipare, a small Raramuri pueblito halfway down
into the canyon--steep down and up, this hike is very rewarding for its
panoramic natural and cultural views.
