Why travel with busloads of other people when you can enjoy our "hometown" privately, and more traditionally?
In order to see the Copper Canyon proper, in less than a day, one has to take the 19 hours cruise ship excursion, which leaves at 5AM and returns around 10-11PM and allows you to see the Canyon only through the view from the train. We do not suggest that as the way to see the Copper Canyon.
We have put together our one-day cruise ship excursion below that allows you to experience a part of Old Mexico in a relaxed, authentic way.

We had a wonderful time on the tour. Everyone was great!…
Now that I've been on it, there is no way you can go to the Copper Canyon itself unless it's a 19 hour trip. While we were a bit disappointed about not getting up to the canyon, the float down the river, the birdwatching and the delicious lunch riverside along with the tour of El Fuerte were very memorable and worthwhile.
