Terms & Conditions
govern all bookings made with Copper Canyon Adventures.
By making a booking with us, you agree to the following terms.
1. Booking Confirmation & Deposits
A booking is confirmed once Copper Canyon Adventures receives a deposit and written confirmation from the guest.
All deposits are non-refundable.
Deposits secure your place on the tour and cover administrative costs, supplier commitments, and reservations made on your behalf.
2. Final Payment
The final balance of payment is due no later than 45 days prior to the scheduled arrival date.
If full payment is not received by this date, Copper Canyon Adventures reserves the right to cancel the reservation and retain the deposit.
Bookings made within 45 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
3. Cancellations by the Guest
If you cancel your booking, the following conditions apply:
Deposits are non-refundable under all circumstances.
If cancellation occurs after final payment has been made, refunds (if applicable) will depend on supplier policies and timing of cancellation.
Copper Canyon Adventures strongly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected cancellations.
4. Credits in Special Circumstances
Copper Canyon Adventures understands that unforeseen events can occur.
In cases such as:
Flight cancellations
Serious illness
Medical emergencies
We may, at our discretion, offer a travel credit for a future booking.
To be eligible, guests must provide appropriate supporting documentation, which may include:
Airline cancellation notices
Medical certificates
Insurance documentation
Credits are typically valid for 12 months from the original travel date, unless otherwise specified.
5. Changes to Bookings
Requests to change travel dates or tour arrangements must be submitted in writing.
While Copper Canyon Adventures will make reasonable efforts to accommodate changes, they:
Are subject to availability
May incur additional supplier charges
May require a revised payment schedule
6. Travel Insurance
All guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering:
Trip cancellation or interruption
Medical emergencies
Personal injury
Lost or delayed baggage
Travel delays
Copper Canyon Adventures is not responsible for losses that could have been covered by travel insurance.
7. Health & Fitness Requirements
Some tours involve physical activity and travel in remote areas.
Guests are responsible for ensuring they are medically and physically fit to participate. Any relevant medical conditions should be disclosed at the time of booking.
Copper Canyon Adventures reserves the right to decline participation if a guest’s condition may pose a risk to themselves or others.
8. Itinerary Changes
While every effort is made to operate tours as published, Copper Canyon Adventures reserves the right to:
Modify itineraries
Substitute accommodations or services
Adjust routes or schedules
This may occur due to weather conditions, safety concerns, local regulations, supplier issues, or events beyond our control.
9. Supplier Responsibility
Copper Canyon Adventures works with independent suppliers including:
Hotels
Transportation providers
Local guides
Activity operators
These suppliers operate under their own terms and conditions. Copper Canyon Adventures acts as an intermediary and is not liable for acts, errors, omissions, or service failures by third-party providers.
10. ForceD Majeure
Copper Canyon Adventures shall not be liable for cancellations, delays, or changes caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to:
Natural disasters
Severe weather
Government restrictions
Political unrest
Pandemics
Transportation disruptions
In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to offer alternative arrangements or travel credits where possible.
11. Liability
Guests participate in tours and activities at their own risk.
Copper Canyon Adventures is not liable for:
Personal injury
Loss or damage of personal belongings
Delays caused by third parties
Circumstances beyond our control
By booking, guests acknowledge and accept the inherent risks involved in travel and adventure activities.
12. Documentation & Travel Requirements
Guests are responsible for ensuring they have:
Valid passports
Required visas
Entry documentation
Vaccinations or health requirements if applicable
Copper Canyon Adventures is not responsible for denied boarding or entry due to missing documentation.
13. Acceptance of Terms
By confirming a booking with Copper Canyon Adventures, guests acknowledge they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
